NRA BASIC SHOTGUN INSTRUCTOR

This is a two-day course beginning on 08/14/2021 and ending on 08/15/2021. A Course Pre-Requisite Basic Shotgun Shooting Course will be offered 07/17/2021 (please refer to page 2 of this flier for further info on the Basic Course).

WHAT YOU LEARN: How to teach Shotgun Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling, Ammunition Knowledge, and the Fundamentals of Shotgun Shooting.
WHEN: Start Time 8:00am Sharp and ends at approximately 7pm.
WHERE: Fossil Pointe Sporting Grounds, 7282 N. FM 51, Decatur, TX 76234.
NOTE: We will be in the classroom that is behind the Shotgun Clubhouse for class!
BRING:
- Pen/Note paper
- Eye and ear protection
- Hat
- Your favorite scattergun (note this course is designed for recreational shooting, so tactical shotguns are not acceptable) and 50 rounds of 7-1/2, 8, or 9 shot.
- YOUR NRA CREDENTIALS CARD if you are already an instructor.
COST: $225.00 ($185.00 for Basic Shotgun only if you are already an NRA Instructor with current BIT)

****Information For the Pre-Requisite Basic Shotgun Course: The NRA has required the Basic Course be taught in example for several years now. While your record of attendance and passing is electronic and should show immediately, if you choose to take another NRA Basic Shotgun Shooting Course, please get a certificate before leaving that class to present to us for admission into the Instructor Course. A pre-arranged shooting qualification time will need to be setup with us prior to the August course.
