TEXAS CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY COURSE

WHAT YOU LEARN: Texas State Laws pertaining to the carrying of a Handgun under the authority of Constitutional Carry in the State of Texas. The difference between having and not having a Texas License to Carry.
WHAT YOU GET: We will have 2 hours in the classroom talking about all of the signs you MUST observe and certain buildings that are not required to have a sign, but you are NOT permitted to carry there.
Bring your handgun and enjoy a 50% discount on a range fee if you go the same day of class!
WHERE: Fossil Pointe Sporting Grounds, 7282 N. FM 51, Decatur, TX 76234 (Note: The Course will be held in the classroom just behind the Shotgun Clubhouse).
WHEN: September 25th, 2021. We will start at 8:30am
BRING:
• Pen/Note paper
• Eye and Ear Protection
• Hat
• Your favorite pistol to shoot (We have rental handguns available at the range)
• Ammunition (is available to purchase at the range)
Frequently asked Questions:
1. Why would I still want to get a Texas LTC?
a. When traveling out of state (reciprocity). Constitutional Carry in most states only applies to residents on that state.
b. The Texas LTC holders have defense in court for some legal situations that Constitutional Carry does not.
c. Texas LTC holders have the legal right to carry some places Constitutional Carry does not.
2. Why come to a class on Constitutional Carry?
a. You will learn where you can and cannot carry in a fun atmosphere
b. We will have discussions about carry methods and personal defense
