Don’t let this title fool you, this course is for everyone. (You MUST know how to operate your firearm and practice safety at all times)
This is a wonderful opportunity, not only to learn how to draw from holster, but to fine-tune your “draw” from holster. Remember, getting to and drawing from the holster is the “fast” step of shooting.
The purpose of this workshop is for the handgun carrier to make educated decisions about equipment, how and where to carry on their person and in various environments. We will explore a variety of carry options and practice accessing, drawing, and presenting in varying positions.
Drawing from concealment techniques will include both one and two-handed drawing techniques, accessing additional equipment, and re-holstering from different types of concealment options and positions.
Requisites:
Handgun and holsters that match firearm with 2 at least magazines or speed loaders
6 rounds of inert ammunition of your caliber/snap caps, etc. if possible
100 rounds of ammunition of your caliber
Inside or outside the waistband holster and all equipment currently using or would like to train with
Cover garment, open shirt or jacket and pullover
Handheld flashlight
Physically able to move with a handgun with both 1 and 2-handed shooting positions safely
Able to stand unsupported from a seated position
Closed toe shoes, wrap around eye and ear protection, brimmed hat
***Bagged lunch, water source and simple carbohydrate, are highly recommended
Fee: $300.00 *** $250.00 for two or more classes-AGAG special
Range Fee: Participants will pay a $25 range fee to Fossil Pointe Sporting Grounds before class
